Jason Kincanon was born and raised in Northern California. He grew up fishing the creeks, ponds, rivers and lakes around his home in Woodland where he became a highly skilled multi-species angler catching everything from salmon to black bass, and everything in between.

It was not long before Jason began tournament bass fishing. Over the course of his tournament career he has enjoyed much success. Jason earned his second championship prize boat last Fall by winning the ABA Northern TOC on Clear Lake.

Jason has always had a talent for catching trophy fish. Today he is recognized as one of the premier big bass fisherman in the country. His understanding of big fish behavior and big bait tuning is second to none. His remarkable big fish resume includes a personal best 17 ¾ lb Lake Berryessa largemouth and not one but two spotted bass over 10 lbs. Not only is Jason an accomplished trophy angler but he is also a master lure designer. Among big bait anglers, the Kincanon Glide Bait is one of the most sought after swimbaits on the market.

Jason offers instructional guided trips on some of the finest big bass lakes in the nation including: Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa and Bullards Bar Reservoir. Clear Lake is the largest natural lake in California and has the reputation as one of the best largemouth fisheries in the country. Lake Berryessa is a diverse fishery that offers anglers the unique opportunity to catch trophy largemouths, smallies and spotted bass It is not uncommon to catch all three species in a single day. If you are a spotted bass fan, Bullards Bar is the ideal destination. With its deep clear waters, Bullards Bar is home to a population of giant spotted bass.

Jason guides from a 2014 Ranger Z119 rigged with the latest Lowrance electronics and powered by a Mercury 225HP motor. Clients have access to the latest tackle including a full complement of G Loomis rods equipped with Shimano reels.
